Arts & Museums NEWS
Art Against Knives

Not a day goes by without horrific news of yet another knife crime. The purpose of this new display is to encourage young Londoners caught up in it to engage in the arts instead.

Positive Type in Shoreditch  is filled with positive messages to inspire young people. It also hopes to raise money as the typography- themed exhibition is in aid of creative charity Art Against Knives with a percentage of each piece sold going to the organisation’s community-based work..

The show will feature works from acclaimed artists including Adam Carter, Annahita Hessami x Tarwane, Coma and Lilly Lou. Look out illuminated pictures, scrawled messages and clever clocks that double as time and art pieces.

Now – Sun 30th June, 12pm – 6pm daily: Positive Type
Rotate Shoreditch, 1 Bath Place, Rivington Street, EC2A 3DA
