Chill out at this FREE Greenwich jazz festival

Theatre & Music Weekend
African Tree

Fancy a fix of FREE live music, yoga and street food all while keeping the kids entertained? You can at the Summer Jazz Weekenders in Greenwich.

Back-to-back weekend events include music highlights from Brazilian legend Marcelo Andrade – pictured with his band above – tuneful London-based quartet TwoSpeak and smooth grooves from saxophonist Sam Rapley.

There’ll also be quieter spots to unwind and de-stress if you need an escape from the music. Look out for FREE yoga sessions and art workshops while kids aged seven up can unleash their inner acrobat with circus tricksters Upswing. (If you/they don’t fancy taking part you can just watch their body-bending performances!)

There’ll be street food for the peckish and if you’ve still got energy (and time) left there’ll be ping pong fun with social gamers Pongathon!

Sat 12th/Sun 13th Aug + Sat 19th/Sun 20th Aug, 1pm-9pm: Summer Jazz Weekenders
The Ampitheatre, Gateway Pavilion, Peninsula Sq, SE10 0SQ
FREE – Just turn up. Activities are FREE but visitors must register on arrival. For more info click here
