You’d have to be living under a rock not to have noticed that, in recent years, ramen has acquired a cult status in London.

Shoryu has just launched its tenth restaurant and for three days there will be 50% off ramen, followed by half-price cocktails for a further four.

For those who know their ramen, Shoryu specialises in Hakata tonkotsu ramen from the southern island of Kyushu.Their signature dish is Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu, a  rich pork broth topped with char siu barbecue pork belly, nitamago egg, kikurage mushrooms, spring onion, sesame, ginger and nori seaweed. Each bowl takes over 12 hours of cooking and the chef describes it as a labour of love.

Salivating? Normally £11.50 it will be on offer for £5.75!
