The Canalway Cavalcade sails into London over the Bank Holiday weekend and, as always, it’ll be packed full of floating fun.

The FREE volunteer-run festival – organised by charity The Inland Waterways Association – takes place from Saturday until Monday at Little Venice in Paddington. Expect historic narrow boats and residential cruisers, many of them decked out in festive bunting.

Programme highlights include a flotilla of historic crafts to music on the Saturday night; plenty of food stalls including ice lollies from Bliss on a Bike, hot dogs by Giggly Pig Co. and  indulgent desserts by Chocololo and a real ale bar.

There’s loads on for the little ones as well! Keep an eye out for the teddy bears’ picnic, Mylo the Mime Artist and Punch & Judy in the Rembrandt Gardens. Plus the chance for kids to go kayaking.

Saturday 30th April – Monday, 1st May, FREE, Canalway Cavalcade.
Little Venice, Paddington.
