Here’s your chance to see some of the country’s best contemporary art talent at a ten-day FREE festival in south London. The 19th DEPTFORD X festival in – yep, you guessed it – Deptford is taking over numerous locations across SE8 in September.

Visitors will be able to enjoy live performances, video and installation works – in addition to fascinating artist talks, walking tours and learning activities.

Each year, five emerging artists are asked to produce provocative and thought-provoking new pieces for sites around the area. Highlights at 2018’s show include works from US artist Shawanda Corbett, Georgia Lucas-Going and David Steans. Glaswegian artist Laura Yuile will also be there. (Her work Tique is pictured above.)
