This exhibition at the Wellcome Collection promises to ‘expand your mind.’ An interactive display, it explores ideas of food, sex and anatomy.

Somewhere In Between looks at how today’s artists interpret the human experience and features four collaborations between creatives and scientists exploring themes of physiology, neuroscience, immunology and genetics.

Alien Sex ClubJohn Walter’s interactive installation Alien Sex Club will be on show

The artist quartet includes BAFTA winning filmmaker Martina Amati whose provocative image Under floats at the top of this page. There’s also a film on human contact from Daria Martin, photographs exploring genetics by Maria McKinney plus John Walter’s interactive piece – Alien Sex Club – (above) which explores the relationship between visual culture and HIV in today’s world.

Now – 27th August 2018, open Tues – Sun, 10am – 6pm (late openings on Thurs) Somewhere in Between
