Bookworms of Britain rejoice; London Bookshop Crawl  – a weekend long event – features a full programme chock-full of events for avid readers.

Watch out for special meet ups, book swaps and conversations with authors. Dozens of bookshops and literary centres across the city will be hosting events, talks, pop-ups and giveaways. Oh, and look out for guided book crawls on the tube too.

Swing by a new FREE musical photo exhibition at Southwark Cathedral. The Rectory Cafe will be hosting the month long collection of photos taken from the acclaimed silent film, London Symphony.

The award winning movie  is a celebration of London’s rich diversity of culture, architecture and religion so we’re betting the display will be a cracker!

Pet cemetery

Here’s a great weird one; be transported back in time and explore the Victorian Pet Cemetery in Hyde Park!

The guided tour will also include a snoop around the Metropolitan Police horse stables which are usually bolted shut to the public. Visitors will also have the chance to discover the fascinating fauna and flora of the royal park.

dogs

One for you pooch lovers – get down to East London on Sunday where they’re putting on a special market for your and your four-legged friends in time for Valentine’s Day!

Fetch & Follow’s ‘Canine Cupid’ Market for Dogs & Dog Lovers at Netil House is FREE entry. Visitors can check out an array of fashion for your foxhound, toys for your terrier and snacks for your schnauzer. A slice of the stall hire fee will be donated to London rescue charity All Dogs Matter and kids are welcome.
