Eat, drink and be merry as London welcomes these weekend food festivals, all offering a little something out of the ordinary.

Foodstock LdnFoodstock Ldn is back in Battersea this weekend

Get your food fix in Battersea Park this weekend – Foodstock Ldn is a two-day jamboree of all things eating and drinking, plus options to keep the little ones entertained.

Watch out for the on-site farmer’s market, craft beers and live music. Fancy making some moonshine? There’ll be a “Beer and Brewing” workshop on both days from Sambrook’s Brewery. And, would you believe an interactive “Chocolate Meditation” workshop (that’s our type of fun!) on both Saturday and Sunday.

For the kiddies there’s face painting and a colouring in tent lined up. Oh, and they’ll be showing all the finals action from Wimbledon on a big screen so you won’t miss a shot!

Sat 15th and Sun 16th July: Foodstock Ldn
Sat, 12pm – 7pm / Sun, 12pm – 6pm: Battersea Park, SW11 4NJ
Online advance tickets, £2 adults, £1 children. On the day tickets, £5 adults, £2.50 children.

Chef Xesc RoviraMichelin starred chef Xesc Rovira will give a demo at the Taste Of Catalonia

Savour some authentic Catalonian cuisine and Barcelona booze at the Taste Of Catalonia FREE festival on the South Bank.

The three-day event celebrates everything great about this pocket of the Med. Look out for Catalan wine and cava tastings, sample tasty tidbits from the Pyrenees and watch a cookery demo from Michelin star chef Xesc Rovira!  DJs will also be on hand to keep the party going.

Fri 14th July – Sun 16th July: Taste of Catalonia
(Fri, 4pm to 9pm / Sat 10.30am to 8pm / Sun, 11.30am to 3pm)
Bernie Spain Gardens, Lambeth, SE1 9PH

CiderdogTry out some delicious drinks at Ciderdog by London Bridge

London’s biggest cider celebration, Ciderdog, is back for its fifth year with dozens of drinks from independent cider makers and pints of apples at £3.50 a pop.

Feeling adventurous? Grab one of the cocktails or flavoured drinks. (Chilli and ginger cider, anyone?) For munch there’ll be tasty burgers from Bunsmiths plus veggie options. If you’re up for it (and not too merry) there’ll be ping pong and garden games to enjoy. The Solid Steel Band will be providing live tunes in the day before DJs take over for a late night party.

Sat July 15th – 12pm to 1am: Ciderdog
The Miller Pub, 96 Snowsfields, SE1 3SS
FREE – For more info click here
