When 30 somethings, club promoter, Matthew Smyth and graphic designer. Andy McGuigan bought the old Beehive pub in 2016 they gave it a cool makeover and The Spit and Sawdust, an all craft beer venue was born: “We just wanted to make something that we would want to hang out in ourselves,” says Matthew.

Two years on and they’re holding a FREE shindig to celebrate both its second birthday and the opening of their new roof terrace. All you’ve got to do is rock up.

It’s freebie entry and punters will be treated to a FREE cocktail taster reception.Think espresso martinis and stylish old fashioned G and Ts with a twist. Plus there’ll be FREE burger sliders from street food veteran, 2Fingers, featuring his White Label Burgers.

DJ, Dom Zilla will be spinning everything from Blondie to Bowie with live crowd-pleasers from four piece cover band, the JB45s
