Imagine Children's Festival

It’s set to be a properly spring like couple of days so grab those sunnies (yep!) and get out and about if you can. Here’s our weekend favourites across the capital.

======

If you’re after keeping the little ones entertained, make straight for the last couple of days of the Imagine Children’s Festival at the Southbank Centre.

The half term extravaganza is a combo of children’s theatre, music, dance workshops and literature. Best of all 50% of the programme is FREE.

Now – Sun 24th Feb: Imagine Children’s Festival
Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, SE1 8XX
FREE – for more info click here

Fancy stocking up the wardrobe on the cheap? (Who doesn’t!) Why not hit up the Big London Flea in Stoke Newington this Saturday.

Watch out for more than 50 specially selected traders flogging vintage wares, upcycled clothing and industrial electricals. There’ll be bric-a-brac and bargains galore as always so keep an eye out. Plus food and drink for the peckish and thirsty.

Sat Feb 23rd, 11am – 6pm: The Big London Flea
EartH, 11-17 Stoke Newington Road, N16 8BH
£1 entry – For more info click here

Get creative at the Genesis Cinema. Write Along Movies is a monthly film club. Everybody watches a film – centred on someone writing or creating – and afterwards people disperse into a corner and work on their own project or/and ask others for advice.

As of now, we can’t tell you what film but keep an eye on their social media. What we can say is that it’s all FREE – the film, tea and coffee and you might just meet some really supportive people. A perfect way to galvanise you to kick start that project you’re always putting off!

Sat 23rd Feb, 12pm: Write Along Movies Club
93 -95 Mile End Rd, E1 4UJ
FREE – For more info click here
