Make straight for the world’s first – and most glam – collection of drag kings and queens with Down’s syndrome at the FREE display on the Southbank.

Drag Syndrome will feature the wondrously named Horrora Shebang plus surprise guests from the London scene. There’s dancing til late too. Enjoy!

House of Illustration Summer Fair

Look out for dozens of independent stalls selling all sorts of amazing books, beautiful prints, colourful cards and literary ephemera at the FREE House of Illustration Summer Fair.

Saturday’s event in King’s Cross is the largest of its kind in the capital. Plus you’ll be right by the food market at Canopy Yard if all those books makes you hungry!

Enjoy a FREE weekender of live music, dance displays, circus skills and plenty of kids’ activities at the Walthamstow Garden Party.

The two-day gala is an eclectic affair. Highlights include pottery classes, a tai chi performance, puppet making and a designers’ marquee. There’ll be booze and street food for the peckish.

The two day market – hosted by Hackney Flea –  will feature more than 50 specially selected traders. Their Facebook page is describing it as Fleamongous – and who are we to disagree?
